Well, we thought the day may come eventually and, although we hoped it wouldn't, karaoke on a Thursday night at the Birches Head Hotel is now to be replaced with a 70's/80's disco from the week after next :(

Hardly suprising when you consider that this week there was only myself, Nicky and another guy (Simon?) in the hotel this week singing songs (oh and the odd one by Leanne when she wasn't insulting others!). Even regulars Scott, Hayley, Tina & Louise didn't make it this week so if anything was going to persuade the landlord he was making the right decision then this weeks dismal turnout compounded it. On the up side, the Tuesday karaoke is still on so we'll just swap nights, it just means I won't be able to get pissed as much as I have to go to work on Wednesdays whereas I don't on Fridays.

The karaoke chart will also fade away with the Thursday nights. It just won't be the same even though it's the same KJ and pub, but Thursdays were our night and always will be. This blog will continue on though with whatever my latest phase and news is ;)
